We are currently accepting resumes for a SHIFT MANAGER at our INWOOD, WV facility (Inwood is located approximately 90 miles west of Baltimore, MD and northwest of Washing DC.). Guardian Fiberglass, Inc., part of Guardian Building Products Group, is one of the largest manufacturers of fiberglass in the world and occupies a significant and growing position in the building materials distribution business. We are a 24/7/365 day a year operation. GBP is a subsidiary of Guardian Industries based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Requirements The Shift Supervisor will manage and lead a team to produce a quality product, as well as on-the-floor troubleshooting. Responsibilities include setting the direction and empowering a team of approximately 20-25 employees as well as ensuring a clean working environment while helping to remove any obstacles. In addition, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining discipline and training.

A successful Shift Manager will possess:

Experience in a fast paced environment (manufacturing not required)
Ability to recognize and correct problems (people & machinery)
Hands-on management style
Desire to develop others
Ability to work a 12-hour shift (with alternating weekends)
