Position Summary
The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for providing analytical perspectives to important strategic decisions. We are tasked with the design, implementation and management of the processes that support business needs. This includes developing financial forecasts and analysis, generating internal management reporting, and monitoring key performance. We also provide decision support and conduct financial reviews of a wide range of business issues, including deal analysis. 
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group in the role of Senior Financial Analyst. The position will be located in the Detroit area (Novi, MI). In this role you will support our executive management team and be responsible for managing our financial planning process, building financial models and developing internal management reports. You will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to “leave your mark”. Requirements

 B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent (MBA preferred; CPA a plus)

 5 years financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment

 Excellent analytical and modeling skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts such as discounted cash flow and valuation methodologies. 

 Create financial models to assess business plans and other business opportunities.

 Building dashboards and other tools to assist management in running operations.

 Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. 

 Knowledge of Hyperion and EssBase financial systems preferred.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Organized, detail-oriented, self-directed and ability to multi-task

 Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.

 Ability to positively interact with all levels of the organization in a team environment.

 Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our corporate office and manufacturing locations across the US
