Description

An Advisory Analyst provides technical and analytical support for Mercer's Health & Benefits client accounts with 500-5000 employees. To fulfill this role in our Salt Lake City office, the Advisory Analyst will:

Lead production of financial reviews of renewals, marketing plans, valuations and cost estimates for client proposals
Work with clients and carriers to gather data and conduct research for client plans and special projects
Resolve day-to-day service issues using a variety of Mercer resources
Develop client relationships and lead projects
Be viewed by clients as the key service person on the Mercer team

Requirements

BA/BS degree in math/statistics or similar studies
2 years underwriting experience with health insurance company or brokerage
Superior analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
Ability to work independently and on a team.
