Quad/Graphics is seeking an Ink R&D Chemist for our CR/T location in Hartford. This candidate will be responsible for the testing, material evaluation, repetitive measurements, data collection and writing technical reports for ink, varnish and pigment dispersion. This role will include both hands on work as well as setting the direction for other technicians within the team.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience with heatset and sheetfed ink formulation. Candidates should have a BS degree in Chemistry or Engineering (with an emphasis in chemistry) or equivalent completed course work. Proficiency in all MS Office applications is required. A diverse background in newsprint inks, flexographic inks or lithographic UV cured inks is a plus.
