SAIC is currently looking for a Computer Scientist to be responsible for the development of software and application administration tasks in support of Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD) NASA Data Center (NDC) Operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Developing and maintaining software utilizing web services to meet customer requirements

Writing new web services and maintaining existing web services as required to meet customer requirements

Responding to trouble tickets

Troubleshooting system problems and providing technical assistance to users

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience with or working knowledge of:

Java Technologies: JMS, J2EE

XML, XSD, XPATH, XSL/XSLT

C/C++

Web services and web service standards

Relational Database Management Systems

DESIRED SKILLS:

TIBCO

Windchill ProjectLink/PDMLink

Active Risk Manager

Cradle

Primavera Project Management

Primavera Cost Management

Vignette Portal/Builder

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may accepted in place of a degree.
