Description ICF International is seeking Feasibility Analysts to support projects in the broadband telecommunications industry. These positions are full-time and based at our metro-accessible locations in the Washington, DC area.


The Financial Feasibility Analyst is responsible for completing financial, demographic and business plan assessments of various broadband services and network projects for fiber and wireless applications and completing project reports for applications. The analyst will be responsible for reading and extracting key demographic, project construction and financial elements from an application to calculate key performance statistics, comparing them to industry or project standards, ensuring compliance with project or funding requirements, and writing up summary profiles of the project, project schedule, technology choices, broadband services proposed and variances from acceptable or standard measurements.

Other responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost and business assessment reports

  • Participate in the feasibly review process to include: assess completeness and scoring of applications; support creation of application project files: coordinate technical, geographic and financial assessment reports for assigned projects, analyze and compile cost and demographic data; prepare project reports.

  • Experience in capital planning, property accounting, construction accounting, market analysis, business project or plan preparation or assessment, loan assessment, broadband deployment or broadband services or network reporting, accounting, analysis, or reporting

  • Work closely with technical, broadband and management teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and coordination of feasibility reports and assessments.

  • Participate in feasibility reviews with upper management and coordinate with senior staff as needed for assigned projects.

  • Prepare and analyze grant/loan requirements including terms and conditions.

  • Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant/quality pricing proposals.

  • Support other pricing team members in preparing responses and review of work.
    • Requirements Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field.

  • Two to five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Experience in capital planning, property accounting, construction accounting, market analysis, business project or plan preparation or assessment, loan assessment, broadband deployment or broadband services or network reporting, accounting, analysis, or reporting.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications preferably Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to communicate and interact well with others.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and research multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • High level of ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.
