VICE PRESIDENT OF FAITH & MINISTRIES The Vice President of Faith & Ministries provides effective leadership to Pastoral Care staff andensures that spiritual care is provided to our patients, families, and hospital staff. This position is anexecutive management role reporting directly to the President & COO of North Carolina Baptist Hospital. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides management and oversight of the outpatient ministries of CareNet, Inc., and the diverseministries of the Center for Congregational Health, Inc. Serves as liaison between the Medical Center and churches, primarily those in the Baptist StateConvention of North Carolina and others in the local community, to plan and coordinate ministries. EDUCATION/LICENSURE: Bachelor's degree Master of Divinity or equivalent theological degree One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education Ordination to Ministry EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with the key leaders and basic organization of the Baptist State Convention Ability to relate to diverse faith communities Demonstrated success in non-profit management including development Experience in the integration of spiritual care in healthcare systems Demonstrated strong leadership skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of the history, heritage and purpose of North Carolina Baptist Hospital (preferred) Qualified candidates should visit our website at www.wfubmc.edu to complete an employment application.Questions should be directed to Deborah Steele at [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
