Provides work leadership to hourly employees in completion of their job duties in environmental services within an area, location or building.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains friendly, efficient Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, co-workers and clients.
Supervises and coordinates staff assignments to ensure efficient and high quality environmental services.
Assists in employee training, hiring, terminations, counseling, coaching and motivation. Assists in maintaining an accurate record keeping system for employees' time cards.
Executes established company policies, guidelines and procedures to achieve Total Quality Management requirements.
Instructs and trains employees.
Plans and coordinates expenditures for supplies and equipment.
Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures.
Performs environmental services functions on an as needed basis.
Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal government regulations.
Recognizes and adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the patient/resident population and demonstrates knowledge of specific issues directly related to age of patient/resident population.
Maintains compliance with ARAMARK's standards of operation, client contract and within ARAMARK's Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to comply with ARAMARK/HSS, government and accrediting agency standards, regulations and codes.
Maintains compliance with all requirements of Federal, State and local regulations and guidelines including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination Act, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended.
Performs all other related duties.
