Description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for revenue, profit and market share growth of the Frames product line within the North America market served by the Home Care and Extended Care Divisions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned:


1. Identify business growth opportunities through a detailed understanding of key market/customer trends and competitor strategies/activities.
2. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and programs to increase brand awareness and achieve revenue, profitability and market share growth objectives.
3. Develop and execute pricing strategy that maximizes growth potential.
4. Define, develop and introduce promotional material/sales tools (brochures, CDs, tapes, trade shows, videos, field updates, web, etc.) that support and communicate the Hill-Rom value proposition to the specific market segment, and build brand equity.
5. Track key business performance indicators to identify necessary countermeasure to achieving business/market goals.
6. Provide leadership to other functional areas (Engineering, Quality, Sales, National Accounts, Service, Finance/Billing, etc.) specific to the completion of programs and activities critical to achieving market goals.
7. Develop links with Key Opinion Leaders and influential organizations to gain leading edge market knowledge and to represent and build Hill-Rom’s standing with these leaders.
8. Collaborate with the Market Research Department to plan, prioritize and field research that identifies and defines opportunities to grow business.
9. Product line management to include, but is not limited to, the following: a. Prepare Customer Requirement documents b. Develop product roadmaps c. Commercialization of new products d. Determine product discontinuance e. Support current products f. Competitive analysis
10. Perform other similar activities or related duties as necessary. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct reports but must have ability to lead project teams


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A track record of achievement of sales and market growth through leadership/teamwork with other company functions.
  • Seasoned communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter with a high degree of initiative, drive and product/project management experience.
  • Competence with business software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, as a minimum).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%. Based in Batesville, IN.


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university, preferably but not necessarily in a business related subject (an MBA would be a distinct advantage).
  • At least five years of experience in marketing and sales roles in the health care industry.
