Rep, Anatomic Path Support I

But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a AP Support Representative I. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.   Filing and retrieval of slides as requested2.   Electronic recording of slides into Laboratory Information System (LIS)3.   Mail handling and distribution within department4.   Storage of laboratory records according to established record management protocol5.   May load/unload slides onto the Focal Point instrument6.   Print/Collate History Match7.   Manage process for requesting recuts, special stains and immunohistochemistry stains8.   May participate in QA/QC support activities9.   May contact clients to request additional information10. May handle incoming calls, responding in a professional and timely manner11. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Education or equivalent2. Knowledge of basic computer functions; Quest LIS knowledge is desirable3. Data Entry skills4. Good clerical, organizational, phone and communication skills5. Ability to work in a laboratory environment6. 1 year related experience preferred
