Cable Technician - Tampa, FL - Active TS/SCI is required

Shift work may be required

Position will deploy to hazardous duty zones

Will be required to perform strenuous activity

Candidate must have verifiable experience in the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of all industry standard Data and Voice RG6 coaxial, CAT3, CAT5/5e, SM and MM indoor Fiber cabling solutions. Experience will include the installation of required components such as data and telephony jacks, 66 and 110 blocks, patch panels and etc. Candidate must have good organizational skills and demonstrated the ability to operate in a US Government secure facility. Candidate must be willing and able to carry, lift and move items up to 60lbs. Work requires the ability to operate kneeling, standing, on ladders and within constrained spaces for extended periods of time. This is a short notice, world-wide deployable position. Travel requirements exceed 60 percent. Upon hire, candidates must be able and willing to deploy, live and work in hazardous locations in support of US Government activities for periods that can exceed 06 months. Candidates must have the aptitude and be willing to learn new job skills as well as perform other duties as required. Any additional skills will be considered.
Required Education:
Requires Associates degree or equivalent. Industry IT certification required.
Required Work Experience:
Requires 3-5 years experience.
Other Desirable Requirements:
Requires US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance.
