Senior Financial Analyst - Cognos 8.0

Description Classification: Interim/Project

Compensation: $35 to $45 per hour

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst that is proficient with Cognos 8.0 Controller. The analyst will be analyzing payment data to ensure that the proper sales tax amount has been charged. The Analyst will extract data and be responsible for dealing with large amounts of data.

Requirements The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Four Year Accounting Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior Experience working with Cognos Controller
• Intermediate Excel and Access Skills a plus
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities as well as interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment with minimal supervision.
