GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in implementing and advocating a consumer driven strategy. In addition, work with Brunswick Corporate to oversee benefits administration including vendor management, provide internal benefits consulting services, ensure regulatory compliance and effective communication.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Provide support in designing, implementing and managing administration of group benefit programs both on a domestic and international level.
  • In conjunction with Brunswick Corporate Benefits, oversees the benefit vendor relationships including contract negotiation and quality service delivery.
  • Provide guidance to other HR staff in a consultative capacity.
  • Subject matter expert on current market practice, trends, and legislative activity and its impact on the Company.
  • Manages the implementation of benefit programs and changes.
  • Develops and documents supporting administration procedures.
  • Provides support in budget preparation and oversees cost reporting and financial analysis.
  • Coordinates training for Human Resources field staff.
  • Provides assistance in resolving unusual claim problems or plan design questions.
  • Oversees the development and preparation of employee benefit communications including Summary Plan Descriptions and Open Enrollment.
  • Requirements Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
  • Bachelor�s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Administration with a minimum of 7 years of progressive health and welfare design and administration experience or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have experience in a Managerial role for 3 or more years.
  • Must have proven analytical and PC skills along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience in labor relations. Multi-divisional and/or multi-location company experience desirable.
