Description Kelly Scientific Resources, a global leader in scientific staffing, currently is recruiting for a direct hire opportunity for a Formulation Chemist in the Decatur, Illinois area. This position requires a minimum of a BS degree with 5-10 years of experience, MS in science or engineering with 2-5 years of industry experience or PhD in science or engineering discipline with 0-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in new generic drug product research and development formulation, ANDA, FDA and other regulatory submissions.
This position will include the following responsibilities: - Provide leadership in rational design, development and scale-up of formulations and processes for new generic drug products. - Be responsible for running laboratory experiments in compliance with SOP's and cGMP's. - Support ongoing manufacturing of new and current products. - Lead continuous improvement of new and current products.
