Description Publicly Traded Organization located in the LOOP- needs to add a Financial Analyst to their department

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Participate in monthly close
  • Analyze and complete headcount reports
  • Analyze Income Statement accounts versus forecast
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reviews

    Participate in monthly forecast
  • Work with field operations regarding forecast revenue
  • Analyze previous monthly results to create monthly forecast
  • Understand headcount and monthly costs

    Revenue Recognition
  • Work with billing department
  • Analyze revenue accounts
  • Communicate revenue results with field operations
  • Work with field operations to understand reporting

    Special Projects
  • Help prepare annual budgets
  • Streamline Excel spreadsheets
  • Assist in preparing written policies and procedures
  • Assist in yearly audit
  • Work with IT tools to improve process
  • Analyze non-billable expenses
  • Analyze project margins and impact

    Qualifications
  • Must have prior experience with forecasting and P&L analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Ability to work under time pressure and maintain high level of accuracy
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Have a BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Requirements Requires:

    Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
    MBA or CPA would be a plus
    4+ yrs of experience in a professional setting working with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    Strong EXCEL skills
