Director of R&D - In Vitro Diagnostics - Lateral Flow/Colloidal Gold Technology

Director of R&D - In Vitro Diagnostics

We provide clinical laboratories worldwide with advanced, rapid diagnostic tests.

If you have R&D experience with lateral flow tests based on colloidal gold technology, please read on!

What you need:

- Industry related experience with lateral flow technology based on colloidal gold and PCR-related testing in the in vitro diagnostics market
- Experience in intellectual property and the FDA submittal/approval process
- 5+ years of experience managing a research team
- PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related sciences

What you'll be doing:

- Manage & direct the research & development team
- Report to the VP of R&D
- Identify new product opportunities
- Collaborate with the executive staff to define priorities
- Establish timetables for project completion
- Refine existing product lines based on market/client feedback
- Manage R&D process from concept to commercialization
