Description Controls Engineer Job

One of the world's leading manufacturers of chemical products, serving the North American continent is actively seeking a DCS & Controls Engineers, with a good understanding of current Yokogawa DCS and interfaces.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day, long-term technical support for the Yokogawa DCS, associated interfaces and various PLC applications
Maintain control stategies which safely and reliably meet operating requirements of the facility
Configure and test control system and operator interfaces
Insure ancillary equipment is properly maintained
Maintain drawings and other relevant documentation to insure long-term viability of systems
Train faculty staff in proper system operation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required: engineering or technical disciplines preferred
Minimum of 3+ years work experience with Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration, networking, commissioning, and technical long-term support
Experienced use of CURRENT Yokagawa DCS and PI preferred
Recent process industry experience preferred (chemical, petro-chemical Process)
Demonstrated leadership skills
