Accountable for utilizing the nursing care process throughout the provision of patient/family care. Responsible for delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care team members. Responsible for coordinating the care of patients, consultation with other disciplines of the health care team as indicated. Functions collaboratively with the medical staff and other disciplines in order to provide and enhance patient care. Proactively strives to maintain and improve quality outcomes with the use of evidenced based care. Facilitates patient care; anticipating patient care needs in discharge planning, individualizing patient care, and adjusting/modifying the nurse plan of care as appropriate. Awareness of cost saving measures to reduce waste. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; KS RN License. CPR certification.
