Color-Box, a Georgia-Pacific company, manufactures high quality, creative point-of-sale packaging.�� We currently have an opening at our Harrington, DE plant for a:
SENIOR/MASTER MECHANIC - 2ND SHIFT - $20.26/hr. to $25.07/hr. (commensurate with experience)�
�+ 50 cents/hr. for shift differential
Although the open position is currently on the 2nd shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), candidates must be able to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays (as scheduled).� Our Senior/Master Mechanic performs duties related to mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs, trouble-shooting machine problems, PMs, and repair and re-building of spare parts in a modified three-shift folding carton, litho-lam packaging plant (which is also tobacco-free).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the United States
At least 5�years of previous�experience�as an Electrician or Maintenance Mechanic (electrical, mechanical and electronical equipment)
Demonstrated ability to read electrical diagrams/schematics
Knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform maintenance on electrical controls, adjustable motor drives, and switchgears
Ability to work independently, as well as being able to lead a team
Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen
Willingness to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, bump caps, safety shoes, uniforms, etc.)

PREFERRED:

Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing printing presses, laminators, or die-cutters
Licensed Electrician
Working knowledge of PLCs/drives
Basic computer skills
