Carolinas Hospital System a 420-bed facility in Florence, S.C., and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) is currently seeking an Infection Control Practitioner.A regional healthcare provider, Carolinas' services include Cardiovascular Medicine & Surgery, Orthopedics,Women's Health/OB, 24-Hour Emergency
Department/Trauma Center, Comprehensive Rehabilitation, Cancer Care and Radiation Oncology. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelors in Nursing and at least 5 years as a Registered Nurse. Knowledge and experience in areas of patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious diseases, communication, program administration and epidemiology required. Certification in Infection Control preferred.
