Research Assistant - Scientific

Description Research Assistant II-Direct Placement-Nashville, TN
Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Research Assistant II for a direct placement position in Nashville, TN. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and conducting experiments, as well as laboratory functions such as maintaining mouse colonies.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Participate in experimental design and follow protocol related to research project. - Maintain and record research data. - Maintain laboratory inventory. - Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Biology or a biological science and 24 months of related experience. - Experience with some of the following techniques is desired: cell culture, Western blotting, immunohistochemical staining, flow cytometry, ELISA, RT-PCR, mouse handling and genotyping. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Possess strong attention to detail.
