We are currently looking for a Client Specialist in our Construction Group located in Glenview, IL
Position Summary: The Specialist manages and/or performs the daily fulfillment of service requirements for selected complex or highly active accounts. This is achieved through effective communication and partnership with internal and external customers. This position reports to the Assistant Director, Client Service Unit, but is required to maintain effective and productive relationships with both internal and external clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:-Manage and resolve inquiries associated with all aspects of service needs; and provides consultative services and solutions to insured inquiries (e.g. output delivery, binder transmittal, coverage inquiries, policy changes, accounting inquiries, policy digests, contract review, etc.).-Identifies and retrieves relevant compliance documentation necessary to process renewals, invoices, surplus lines filings.-Directs the completion of all necessary activities to initiate a renewal, process an invoice, issue auto IDs, process surplus lines, issues emergency certificates, resolve premium account discrepancies, initiate endorsements, process vehicle suspensions and manage all other client requests.-Executes renewals and guides the support team with the delivery of relevant outputs.-Establishes and maintains agency management system.
-Demonstrates strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve client issues around deliverables.-Addresses and completes special client projects such as; creates policy summaries, schedules of insurance, and provides quality review of all post placement outputs.
-Participates in office and client visits.-Assists Producers and Account Executives with Renewal strategies and with New Business opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
3-7 years of experience managing Construction accounts and experience with Home Owner Associations a plus.
-Demonstrates an outstanding awareness of the complexities of the insurance industry and the construction class of business.-Experienced in managing accounts with varying complexity (complexity determined by size of account and/or nature of business).-Supports Aon Risk Services offices
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience with Excel and MSWord required
