Product Coordinator - Scientific

We currently have an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Microbiology Study Manager at very reputable company in the Eagan area.
Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include: ' Performs and supervises assays involving and using bacteria and fungi ' Generates data using approved assays ' Responsible for the design of research and development experiments for the clients. ' Works with the administrative staff in providing information for new and established clients ' Responsible for the report (data) generation and integrity for testing services. ' Maintains a high level of scientific integrity ' Stays current with pertinent scientific literature ' Initiates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)as needed ' Stays current with EPA and FDA Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (40 CFR Part 160 and 21 CFR Part 58) ' Assures compliance of the laboratory to applicable regulated GLP studies
Education and experience required: ' B.S./M.S. microbiologist ' 4+ years of industrial, clinical, or contract laboratory microbiology experience ' 2+ years of study design and GLP/GMP experience ' Strong interpersonal and communication skills ' Strong organizational skills ' Strong analytical and problem solving skills ' Proficient in Microsoft Word ' Familiarity with AOAC and ASTM antimicrobial test methods and EPA/FDA regulations a plus ' Client service experience a plus ' Candidates must be living in the Twin Cities area.
