Pro/Engineer modeling, detailing Liaison/ Coordinator

Description A client of Volt Workforce Solutions (a world leader in the staffing industry, boasting over 50 years of experience) is looking for someone who can ask as an Engineering Liaison/ Coordinator.

1) This position will be responsible for coordinating work between the U.S. Product Development Teams and the Client's EDCI for some of the Modeling and Detailing projects.

2) Conduct meetings with Client USPDTs to gather project requirements and specifications for new and existing projects.

3) Maintain timely communication with the Client USPDTs regarding project requirements, specifications, and updates, and then transferring this project information to the Client's EDCI team leader/engineer responsible for the project completion.

4) Download project files, revise, and upload revised project files within the various Client systems. Maintain workflow process of I-Man/Team Center/Design Collaboration Center (DCC) production system as needed.

5) Assist in the creation of drawings and images to help communicate project requirements. Assist in the modification of Client EDCI-designed Pro Engineer CAD models and drawings and assist Client with EDS database changes as required.

6) Local travel within Decatur to meet engineers and gather project requirements should be all that is needed. May need to travel to Peoria, IL on occasion.

7) Help facilitate continual quality improvements by providing constructive feedback between the Client's 2 teams.

Requirements Must have a total of 5 years of modeling and detailing experience and at least 3 years of experience modeling and detailing components specifically sheet metal components and structural weldments as well as castings and assemblies and fluid lines.

Needs to have min 3 years of Pro/Engineer experience.
