CEB’s Online Experience team is expanding and looking for an experienced, self-motivated Senior Manager of User Experience to help design and produce world-class Web sites. The ideal candidate is a multi-skilled practioner with extremely strong interaction design skills, user research and usability testing expertise, and an eye for aesthetics. We are looking for a team player who can quickly learn our organization's needs and culture and take responsibility for critical design decisions regarding current and future CEB digital products.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead, executive, and train staff on UX best practices
  • Maintain library of design patterns, research findings, and UX best practices
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, surveys, and usability analyses
  • Research user behavior through web analytics
  • Create user profiles/personas, task analyses, and user scenarios
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes
  • Conduct analyses of competitors’ Web sites and stay abreast of emerging technology trends
  • Understand and document business processes and determine business needs; articulate business value for new products and enhancements
  • Define usability and usability requirements for new products and enhancements, as well as enforce site heuristics
  • Partner with designers and developers to ensure final products meet design and usability objectives
  • Compile and present quantitative and qualitative findings about end-users and present to senior leadership
 
Requirements A successful candidate will possess:
  • 6+ years design or UX experience with websites and web applications/architectures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of overall web site design, including usability, user-centered design principles, industry standards, information architecture and navigation
  • Expertise in Web UI technologies (html, javascript, CSS, etc)
  • Proficiency using Photoshop
  • Proficiency using Google Analytics
  • Some experience with multimedia design (e.g. Flash, Director, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and project and client relationship management skills; strong service ethic
  • BA/BS in technical or design related fields preferred
