Description Admissions Representatives

This is an exciting position for the candidate who thrives in a sales environment that believes in “building futures one success story at a time.”

Already known for outstanding educational standards, Kaplan University is seeking Admissions Representatives with the drive and vision to join an inspired team toward higher achievement in serving our valued student population.

Responsibilities for student acquisition, include:
 Interviewing applicants through telephone contact and (face-to-face) personal interviews, to determine motivation, interest, effort and ability to qualify for various programs.
 Reviewing programs, and touring facility with prospective students.
 Discussing accreditation, Placement assistance, and Student services with each prospective student.
 Handling student Enrollment application process.
 Conducting daily interviews, monitoring enrollment activities and updating/tracking leads, including Personally Developed Leads.
 Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Requirements include:
 Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
 6-months to 1 year of successful Sales Experience
 Record of achievement illustrating strong Goal Orientation.
 Display of highest levels of Integrity and Intelligence.
 Desire to succeed within highly competitive environment.
 Ability to multi-task, and to succeed within strict deadlines.
 Exceptional social and customer focus skills.
 Strong Detail orientation and capability to be highly organized.
 Persuasive Communication skills.
 Proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and faculty.
 Work requires “variable” hours, with some Saturday work possible.
