General Summary: The White House|Black Market Store Manager supervises the sales, operations and personnel functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability. In full compliance with company policies and procedures and constant communication with the District Sales Manager, the Store Manager ensures that the store meets all company standards in the areas of: Make Women Feel Beautiful and Customer Satisfaction Sales goal achievement Cash / inventory management General store operations Loss prevention Visual presentation floor sets, merchandise handling, and store maintenance Human resources management, development, and training Essential Functions: Qualified candidates must possess the ability to: 1. Recruit and hire all assistant store managers and sales associates in a timely fashion to ensure proper staffing; partnering with District Sales Manager in extending employment offers 2. Effectively train all assistant store managers and associates according to company protocol 3. Motivate, supervise and counsel all staff associates according to company guidelines and in partnership with District Sales Manager 4. Prepare weekly schedules in accordance with company guidelines, monitor payroll to establish proper floor coverage 5. Possess effective leadership skills and portray a positive team attitude 6. Prepare, direct and participate in store meetings Qualifications: 1. Must be 18 years of age or older 2. High School diploma desired 3. 2 Years or previous retail management experience required 4. Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills 5. Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations 6. Proven excellent customer service skills with statistical track record in all areas of sales 7. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 8. Established history in recruiting and retaining a quality sales and support staff 9. Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs, hang/fold merchandise, climbing, reaching, pushing/pulling 10. It is the store manager’s responsibility to be present and punctual for all assigned shifts, work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends#CB#
