Principal Engineer-Tech Supp

Description Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the security documentation for systems, to include: System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA), Information Assurance Policy, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Coordinate with between organizations to identify and define security requirements, perform manual and automated reviews/scans of systems and applications, identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, and support the system through certification and accreditation.

Coordinate with developers, engineers, and integrators to ensure that system security is properly configured and that systems and documentation comply with DoD Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Security Certification and Accreditation Guide, Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3, Joint DoDIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information System Security Standards (JDCSISSS), and Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Security Requirement Specifications (SRS).

Monitor the Configuration Management (CM) process of all systems under the project realm.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Support image analysts in 1st and 2nd phase reporting in a dynamic operational area (no image analysis performed by the support engineer).

Execute MS Windows XP Workstation and Windows 2003 Server Administration.

Provide customer support on the following software:
MAAS (Multi-INT Analysis and Archive System),
MS Office (including: Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, Access),
Sensor Systems Remote View Pro ELT,
ArcGIS,
Falcon View,
Roxio Easy CD Creator,
and Internet Explorer.

Support administration and maintenance of the following hardware components:
Crestron video switching equipment,
Dell RAID,
NetApp Storage system,
and EEG Data Recovery equipment.

Attend and report on weekly site communications group meetings, weekly status reports, communicating on site activities to team members and General Dynamic's management.

TS/SCI

Requirements Masters with min 3 years equivalent experience or Bachelors with min 5 years equivalent experience.

Some travel, both domestic and foreign, may be required.

Applicant selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

A current TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship are required.
