Senior Systems Analyst - Emergency Dept Systems

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) located within St Vincent Health, in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a customer focused Senior Systems Analyst who will be responsible for the planning, design, build, implementation and support of the Eclipsys Emergency system.  This role will be responsible for taking charge and managing the project with an emphasis on the technical aspects.

While providing outstanding customer service, this experienced Senior Analyst will: 

• Be responsible for maintenance to the Quest/Eclipsys Emergency Manager system  to include upgrades, daily error logs and tickets from customers.
• Additional duties, as related to Emergency Manager, include design, build, project manager, implementations, support and maintenance.
• Completing assigned new requests in a timely manner.
• Perform necessary testing and training with customer base on Eclipsys related projects.
• Must work well in a team environment and be able to manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to take ownership and be a leader in project managing the tasks as well as helping other team members. 
• Participate in a weekly team on-call rotation.

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
• 4 or more years work experience either in Systems Analysis or Healthcare field is required. (total years may be a combination)
• A working knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Office, Interfaces, OR related Emergency Department system is required
• Great trouble shooting and customer service skills
• Prior experience using Eclipsys is strongly desired
• Previous experience working with an Emergency Room application is preferred
• Must be able to project manage and take ownership of work
• Must be able to follow standards and integrate with other I.T. teams as well as customers.
• Knowledge of SQL database structure and trouble shooting skills,  preferred
• Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
• Willingness to reside withing a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN
