• Provides direct supervision to department staff, works independently but collaborates with divisional RN leadership on relevant clinical issues.
• Recruit and retain talented staff and ensure proper training, resource allocation and develop standards to monitor and evaluate staff performance.
• Responsible to implement and maintain clinical and business policies and procedures.
• Ensures customer satisfaction within the clinic sites by coordinating the resolution of patient issues.
• Responsible to ensure accurate charges are entered in IDX.
• Responsible for facility planning and overall facility maintenance.
• Develop and produce monthly Key Indicator Reports relating to patient access and financial goals and objectives.
• Develop and run monthly Key Indicator Reports and Key Performance indicators.
• Contribute to the development of short and long term business planning.
• Oversight of clinical and business compliance.
• Working collaboratively with Facilities: responsible for space renovations, building moves and ongoing facility maintenance.
• Responsible for safety functions in clinics. Attend safety meetings. Provide input for change to meet safety regulations. Ensure completion of safety training for new employees.

Requirements Knowledge:

• Knowledge of financial cost analysis relating to personnel, inventory, production and profitability.
• Medical insurance knowledge to include ICD-9 and CPT coding.
• Understanding of process flows regarding service levels, cash handling and collections.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices, managed care concepts and physician practice management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.

Skill:

• Excellent leadership skills including proven track record in change implementation and management in the work place.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead and motivate staff at multiple facilities.
• Staff development to include orientation, training and competency.
• Ability to multi-task and provide oversight of multiple facilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of three to five years experience in healthcare or related service industry (preferably in a clinic setting)
• Minimum of one year financial and/or budgetary responsibility
• BSN or Bachelor's degree in health care, business administration or related field preferred and/or equivalent and relevant work experience.
