Job Description

Title: Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy (Concord Hospitality)
Department: Sales
Supervisor: Director of Revenue Management
SUMMARY: Will be responsible to effectively maintain daily contact with hotels to provide revenue management strategies in an effort to drive market share premiums at our hotels. This position will ensure proper use of sales tools and systems to maintain the company database, and provide company wide revenue data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Participate via conference call or web based video in weekly Sale Strategy Meetings utilizing One Yield, turndown reports, MRWD Reports, Rate Surveys, C3POs and other available Concord or Brand Hotel tools. The focus will be on challenge market/hotels.

2. Daily discussions with Corporate Sales Team, General Managers, Regional VP of Operations, Hotel Sales Teams and contracted Revenue Managers to discuss changes in the market and adjusting strategies as demand changes.

3. Monitor the hotel effectiveness and use of revenue and sales tools and systems such as C3PO, Delphi, etc..

4. Be knowledgeable of occupancy, average rate, and REVPAR goals of each hotel.

5. Monitor the various brands RFP Process to ensure proper participation.

6. Maintain basic knowledge of PMS systems and reporting for all hotels that relate to revenue reporting.

7. Provide support and monthly critiques for all hotels not meeting Concord Hospitality revenue standards (Yield Index decrease of 5% or greater, or as defined by the VP of Sales & Marketing), this should include both revenue management insight as well as direct sales improvements

8. Actively participate in assisting with the organization, and presentation roll-out for company meetings and conferences such as the General Manager Conference, Sales conferences and Regional type meetings.

9. Must be able to maintain positive and constructive relationships with Hotels Leaders, Regional Teams, Corporate staff, and all Brand Liaisons.

10. Use of Market Vision to track catering forecasting reports from full service hotels as well as tracking sales activity.

11. Participate in weekly and monthly Sale Meetings and Conference calls with Corporate Sales Team to ensure delivery of consistent goals and messages to the hotels

12. Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.

13. Assist with distribution of Marketing Plan to all properties. Collection of final plans in a single file on network. Monitor action plans objectives and tasks for completion and financial objectives quarterly.

14. Collection of DaySTAR and monthly STAR reports for analytical review with Corp Sales team to track effectiveness of current sales initiatives. Networked storage of all historical STAR reports for future use.

15. Manage all participation of “shop programs” for hotels such as rate surveys, group shops, catering shops, etc..

16. Heavy involvement in Delphi MPE to ensure proper parent – child account relationships in company database as well as maintaining property based account responsibility assignments.

17. Maintain sales compliance with all represented brands in the portfolio

18. Travel to hotel markets as necessary to better understand market positions of hotels and build solid relationships with hotel and market leaders

19. Provide STAR and Market analysis and information for future potential hotel development.

20. Assist with updating the Concord Home – Sales page and maintain proper records on the Concord Intranet site.

21. Attend any brand required training as well as other meetings requested by your Supervisor.

22. Carry out any reasonable request by Management that you are capable of performing.

23. Some travel will be required; expectation is 10% of time may result in travel.

24. Assist other Concord Departments when required.

25. Represent Concord Hospitality, the Courtyard by Marriott, and any other hotels once developed, in a professional manner at all times.

26. Comply with company policies and procedures.
