Description
Basic Function:
Responsible for supporting the primary business objectives through field training program facilitation and tracking, and identifies training opportunities with District and Store Managers, both business and tutorial for assigned Stores.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Executes training programs effectively and with high quality for assigned Stores; provides feedback on the development of training plans to ensure adequate materials to conduct assigned training programs that address field needs for specific content.
2. Responsible for consistent facilitation and rollout of Company-wide training and development programs across assigned stores.
3. Works with the Salon Field Training Manager and the Salon Training Development Manager to set training goals and calendars.
4. Works with Store Managers and District Managers to identify Store and District training needs to meet sales and profit objectives.
5. Assesses participants' use of knowledge and skills following completion of training.
6. Tracks training efforts and reports results to Field Training Manager; provides required and ad hoc reports as requested; provides input into training and development needs based on participant feedback.
7. Responsible for all logistics and material preparation for training.
8. Maintains and communicates working knowledge of salon operations, procedures, and core standards.
Key Relationships:
1. Works with Salon Managers on plans for implementation of Salon training programs.
2. Works with Salon Training Development Manager to coordinate implementation of training programs and provide feedback on vendor and corporate training programs.
3. Works with Districts and/or Store management as needed on significant training challenges in local Salon operations.
4. Counsels with Associate Recruitment on recruitment opportunities
Knowledge and Skills:
Education: College degree or equivalent business experience.
Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in a multi-unit environment, including training at least 3 years.
Core Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, good communication both written and verbal, MS Office proficient, professional manner with both internal and external contacts, ability to lead and motivate others, ability to conduct large and small hands-on training seminars.
