Description

Position Summary

The Desk is responsible for serving clients and managing their brokerage product needs.  They are also responsible for performing unsolicited business, customer service inquiries and third party products Middle Office Support.

  

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients by providing quotes and placing unsolicited trades on fixed income, equities and mutual funds  
  • Work with business partners to help answer and resolve customer issues
  • Educate customers on E*TRADE investment products as well as qualifying leads for various business units
  • Receive inbound calls and provide a quality client service experience
  • Respond to customers email inquiries
  • Strengthen the client relationship through effective presentation of E*TRADE’s investment products and services
  • Managed Portfolio Support
  • Handle unsolicited trades as well as customer service inquiries regarding Desk supported products.
  • For unsolicited business, customer service inquiries and third party products Middle Office Support
  • Provide back office support to KIM/HOW, OLA, as well as anything related to MIP. This would include, but necessarily be limited to, account opening/closing, account funding, forms and serve case tracking, and trade reconciliation
  • Outbound calls to support OLA funding issues
  • Outbound calling campaigns based off various marketing campaigns
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Series 7/63 REQUIRED and Series 66 a plus, clean U4
  • Must be able to interact effectively with clients, co-workers and business partners
  • Must be flexible, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • 2 plus years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the operation of securities industry
  • Knowledge of trading and operations functions, regulations
  • Results driven
