Sanmina-SCI is currently recruiting qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs for the following position located in Charlotte, NC in the Global Services Division.

JOB TITLE: Material Handler

SHIFT: 1st, Mon-Fri

NATURE OF WORK:

  • Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
  • Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

    CORE
    • Requirements Minimum requirements: 0-1 years of related experience.- Overtime may be required and performs additional duties as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager. - Must be customer service-oriented and have the ability to communicate both oral and written. - Ability to learn, make decisions and be creative/flexible. - Accuracy, efficient and proactive in completion of duties. - Positive attitude, friendly personality, positive workplace behavior, self motivated.- Intermediate knowledge of Oracle - Continuous Improvement Quality process (i.e. Lean Mfg, Six Sigma, ISO 13485)EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Position requires a Bachelors Degree, Associates Degree, Military Training, or equivalency. cb***
