Six Sigma Quality Engineer I
In this role, you will implement process improvements projects (DMAIC, DFSS, or Lean) within the business. This will encompass focusing on eliminating defects, streamlining processes, eliminating waste, reducing process variation and overall process improvements through the use of data driven tools. Leading a cross functional team, reducing resistance, and engaging team members towards a common goal will also be involved.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

Bachelor's degree plus 3 - 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering field and demonstration of successful completion of Green Belt projects preferred.

Six Sigma Green Belt trained and experienced.

Black Belt experience or certification is a plus.

Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of the Six Sigma methodologies and tools.

Knowledge of project management fundamentals and expertise managing projects.

Ability to lead, work with teams, be part of a team, and understand team dynamics (forming, storming, norming, performing).

Demonstrated, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience using data analysis computer tools (Minitab) and statistical analysis preferred.

PC proficiency with MS Word, Project, Excel and Access, as well as Visio.
