Clinical Systems Analyst - Electronic Medical Record

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) located at St Vincent Health  in Indianapolis, IN is seeking to hire 2 customer focused Clinical System Analysts who are will work with clinicians to identify business requirements and incorporate them into solutions, developed and configured into the Electronic Medical Record application. Applicants should be a self-starters with the ability to multi-task and who are motivated to handle a large volume of work.

Each Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Documentation of requirements to support clinical documentation and physician order entry
• Configuration of required application changes to support clinical documentation and physician order entry
• Presentation of system functionality to customers
• Application testing
• Utilization of project methodology and skills
• Problem identification and resolution
• Support and maintenance activities.
• Produces and maintains documentation

Required for both Open Positions:

• A minimum of 2 years system analysis experience in a healthcare environment is required.  This must be analysis support including documentation, implementation,  configuration, application testing, and user training  (Help Desk and Desktop Support experience does not meet this requirement)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks through prioritization and organization
• Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
• Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN

Preferred for both Open Positions:

• Experience as a healthcare clinician
• Previous experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record application
• Eclipsys application experience
