Description 1.Observes mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots to locate causes of trouble.

2.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

3.Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

4.Responsible for SAP driven planned maintenances.

5.Responsible for mold changeovers.

6.Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

7.Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.

8.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components

9.Lubricates and cleans parts.

10.Starts devices to test their performance.

11.Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

12.Assist/plan equipment and retrofit installations.

13.Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.

14.Performs work in a safe manner, and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.

15.Responsible for adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules.

16.Responsible for maintaining high standards relating to area housekeeping.

17.Responsible for working effectively with Team Leaders, Production Technicians, and other plant personnel.

18.Has the authority to place product on hold and shut machines down.

19.Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements 1.Excellent mechanical skills, exhibited by related mechanical experience, or a minimum of a two year university or technical school degree or equivalent, or a combination of education and related experience.

2.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

3.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

4.Ability to perform intermediate math calculations and problem solving.

5.Ability to work with others in a team environment.
