Description
Installs, checks out, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. Provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques. Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action. Advises and assists in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation. Devises and implements preventive maintenance programs and keeps performance and maintenance records on equipment. Participates in installation planning phase.
Knowledge: Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.
Problem Solving: Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
Discretion: Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact:Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
Liaison: Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified individual should be knowledgeable and experienced in all facets of the employment of utilities support and have the ability to translate and execute operational requirements into a utilities support reality. Preferred background in Marine Logistics and Operations. SOF experience is preferred. Position is located at Camp Pendleton, CA.
Must be able to obtain a minimum of a Secret Security Clearance
Must possess a valid state driver's license
Must possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions
Must be able to work in an environment that is fast paced, completing multiple tasks, meeting stringent timelines
Must be able to write correspondence in a military format,
Perform data entry on standard computer systems utilizing current version of MS Windows, Office, Access, Excel and related programs
Must be physically fit and able to work long hours over extended periods
Will be required to perform specific tasks assigned to USMC MOS 1169
Must be experienced with assessing equipment readiness, work progress, and maintenance personnel readiness.
Must be experienced in performing and participating in internal maintenance inspections and reviews as well as understanding all preventative and corrective maintenance procedures for ground support and engineer equipment. Minimum Experience and Education: 10 Years
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
