Purpose/Description:
This position is to provide financial leadership in the areas of cost accounting, standard costing, price development, inventory control and related studies.
 
 Core Responsibilities:

  •  Administer and maintain financial controls and financial systems related to standard cost and inventory.
  •  Prepare monthly closing activities, financial statements, and analysis.
  •  Reconcile and analyze inventory and related general ledger accounts.
  •  Drive improvements in inventory accuracy.
  •  Develop, document and establish financial control procedures.
  •  Develop and coordinate planning activities for standard costs calculations.
  •  Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  •   Professionalism: Dealing directly and forthrightly with people and problems, persisting to get the job done, and managing personal responses and stress.
  •   Dependability/Reliability: Following through on commitments, producing timely work to required – or higher – standards, and pitching in to get the job done.
     
     
     Minimum Education and Experience:
     Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, CMA or CPA desirable.

  •  Strong analytical and process skills.
  •  Proactive problem solving and identification of improvement actions.
