Transport Driver Summary:
To be considered YOU MUST have two years of truck driving exerience with a tank trailer. No exceptions.
The Transport Driver position is primarily responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and delivery of gasoline, diesel fuel, Motor Oil, propane, tires, or merchandise to our truck stops or directly to a customer’s place of business. An excellent driving and safety record is a must.
Transport Driver Duties
Our Transport Drivers represent our company out on the road. Our trucks are rolling billboards and therefore must be kept clean both inside and out.
The trucks must be operated in a safe, courteous manner at all times and always abiding by the law. Patience is a virtue when hauling hazardous materials. Angry, hurried, impatient drivers need not apply.
Below is a partial list of duties that one could expect to perform on a typical shift:
Conduct pre-trip inspection of truck and trailer
Complete pre-shift safety inspection form
Check oil prior to starting vehicle
Fuel truck
Clean cab of truck
Attend pipeline safety meeting
Stick tanks prior to, and after, delivery of fuel
Remain outside by hoses while making delivery
Complete daily log
Turn in pay sheets
Train new driver
Schedule time for truck to be washed

Requirements for a Transport Driver
A Transport Driver must have a current D.O.T. physical examination card, a current commercial drivers license showing your current residential address, and all required federal endorsements for transportation of the intended cargo including; Hazmat, Airbrakes, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker.
A Transport Driver is required to uphold our professional image by being in full uniform at all times. We do not allow visible body piercing or tongue posts. Hair must be neatly groomed and of a natural color.
No radical dyes or hair styles will be allowed. Gentlemen must have their hair up off of the collar.
If hired for this position you must provide proper documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States, be willing to undergo a criminal background, Motor Vehicle Records, and D.O.T. required employment reference checks, and be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, bend, climb stairs and ladder, walk, talk and hear

Required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with arms and hands.
Regularly required to lift and / or move items up to 40 pounds
Vision requirements: Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision in both night and day conditions.
