Description For over 100 years, members have trusted AAA for their Automotive, Travel and Insurance needs. Our Emergency Road Service Fleet is seeking Service Vehicle Operators/Tow Truck Drivers to help uphold our tradition of quality service.

Our Drivers provide Emergency Road Service to members and non-members, including battery boost, tire changes, lock-out and towing services. We operate a 24-hour operation and have opportunities for both full and part time drivers and 2nd shift (other shifts may also be available).

Requirements

We are looking for experienced drivers with:

Knowledge of automotive repair and service techniques
Knowledge of towing procedures and practicies
Excellent customer service skills
Good driving record and valid Illinois/Indiana Class C non CDL Drivers License or ability to obtain permit prior to start.
Previous experience operating a tow truck a plus.
ASE Certifications (A6 or A8) or ASE master Tech Certification preferred.
Willinging to work mandatory overtime due to severe and/or extended weather conditions and/or sever staffing shortages.
For insurances purposes candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
