We are pleased to offer the following positions at this time:
STRATTON RESORT and BROMLEY MOUNTAINS - APPLY ONLINE - We are seeking valet parking attendants to work at Stratton resort. This service is provided for skiers and snowboarders weekends, starting Thanksgiving weekend, and going into early April. We also work days during the week during holiday and vacation peak periods. Our service is open 7am-5pm. General purpose – Valet Attendants are held to the highest standard of customer service. Depending on the location, some specifics may vary, but the primary purpose of this position is to assist customers, park their vehicle, and be a visible representative of the establishment we provide services for. After parking the vehicle, the attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron.
Duties and responsibilities:
To maintain a professional image for our client establishment
To assist any and all patrons in any way we can
To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times
To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service
To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job
Work environment – Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees work environment. Shifts will not be cancelled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
Please note:
* All employees are hired on a 30 day trial period. If during that time the employee does not perform their duties to the satisfaction of management, they can be terminated without cause
* All employees will train for four shifts. During this time they will not receive tips, but will receive a higher pay rate as compensation

Requirements
License(s) required – The general Valet Attendant position requires a valid Class D license to operate a motor vehicle. A driving record will be required at the time of application, and it must be approved for the applicant to be considered for a position. The Class D license must be kept in good standing for the duration of employment.
General requirements to be considered for employment:
Must hold a valid Class D license for over one year
Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle
Must supply a driving record either from the registry or your insurance company. This driving record is subject to approval and is a condition of employment
Must undergo a criminal records check
Must have adequate transportation
Must participate in an interview
Must satisfactorily complete a road test with a member of management
Must have customer service experience
Must be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
Must have a neat appearance and good attitude
Minimum experience required – All Valet Attendants are required to:
* Be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management
* Have your own transportation (driving experience)
* Have experience working in customer service
* Be over the age of 18 (due to laws about operating heavy machinery)
Physical demands:
* Standing at least 8 hours a day
* Running up to 200 yards, 50 times a day or more
* Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily
* Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles)
* Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Minimum level of education – A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
