On Call/Substitute Bus Driver

$11.47 per hour

 

On Call/Substitute Bus Driver Trainee

$9.10 per hour

 

These positions are eligible for temporary supplemental pay through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. The pay rate will be 7.84% higher for the period from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.

Community Action Head Start is recruiting for an On Call/Substitute Bus Driver or Bus Driver Trainee. The Bus Driver transports children, parents and staff for the program. The Driver works as part of the site team to provide support in all aspects of the Head Start program.

Requirements To qualify for a Bus Driver position, you must have: a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); a Class “C" Commercial Driver’s License; an Oregon School Bus Driver’s Certificate; a safe driving record; the ability to pass a physical exam; the ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; and the ability to register with the Criminal History Registry of the Child Care Division.

To qualify for the Bus Driver Trainee position, you must have: a High School Diploma or General Education Degree GED; a Class “C" Commercial Driver’s License permit; a safe driving record; the ability to pass a physical exam; the ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; and the ability to register with the Criminal History Registry of the Child Care Division.
