Description Under the direction of the Department and Medical Director, the Cardiopulmonary Services Nurse is responsible for assisting the cardiologist and other allied professionals, both technically and clinically in the assessment, planning, executing and evaluating the care of cardiac patients. The Cardiac Services nurse must be willing to cross train and float to other cardiac service areas to meet the needs of the facility.

Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (A.D., Diploma, B.S.N., or Master's Degree in Nursing). Current Florida RN. Minimum of two (2) years in Cath Lab procedures including Diagnostic Cath, Stent placement and ICD/Pacer procedures. Willingness to be cross trained and work interdepartmentally to special procedures, ICU and/or ER. Must be able to provide verification of at least 500 hours of Level 2 Cardiac Program experience. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS. Willingness to be cross trained to other areas. Basic computer skills.
