INTERPRETER (PORTUGUESE)/MIGRANT OUTREACH SPECIALIST

We are seeking an Interpreter (Portuguese)/Migrant Outreach Specialist to translate confidential medical information/inquiries from doctor/nurse to patient and vice versa.  Other duties include: working with migrant outreach staff providing basic health and social service needs and education to migrant farm workers in Burlington Co.,  assisting medical reception and social work staff.
 
This is a full-time position, M-F, with a minimum of 1 late night required (11:00 am-7:00 pm or later), Rotating Saturdays are a requirement.

 Requirements-1-2 years Medical office experience required
-Must be familiar with and able to effectively interpret Medical Terminology in Portuguese
-26 years or older with a valid driver's license in order to be able to drive a company vehicle is preferred but not required
-Some clerical skills are required
-Must possess excellent customer service skills
-Must enjoy working in diverse environments
