job description

1) Serves as a team member for the functional system implementations for the Clinical Repository clinical system. (Discharge Instructions, Medication reconciliation, Clinical Documentation etc.)
2) Serves as the team member that develops and implements the operational design sessions for the current and future state analysis and documentation of the clinical repository system
3) Performs project tasks and directly works with the vendor, Patient Care Services end user, IS clinical analysts and IS technical resources.
4) Performs project tasks for GE Centricity clinical repository system.
 5) Helps develop and maintain all project documentation being: project workplan, issue log, current and future state design documents, test scripts and testing results all in adherence to project management methodology.
 6) Participates in the on going system support of the GE Centricity clinical repository system that includes upgrades and implementing additional functionality of the system.
7) As a team member of the clinical team, provide production on call support for the GE Centricity clinical repository system.

job Requirements

1) Ideal candidate has minimum 6 plus years experience with clinical repository system solutions and have participated in the selection and implementation of multiple clinical repository systems that include CPOE, Closed-Loop Medication, Clinical documentation and Physician documentation in the role of the project manager.
 2) Candidate must have experience as a functional clinical analyst for clinical repository system solutions.
3) Candidate must have experience that includes both system and hands-on operational experience in the clinical Medical Center environment.
 4) Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
 5) Candidate must have experience in working directly with the Patient Care Services department and the physicians at all levels.
6) Candidate must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal communications. 7) Bachelor¿s degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
