Marine Credit Union, a rapidly growing financial institution, has a need to develop a pool of highly successful, well-qualified individuals for future management positions. Promoting from within the organization is a high priority at Marine. Individuals that understand the long-range strategic plans, credit union goals as well as the functional areas are needed for future leadership positions. 

 

To successfully develop it’s future leaders, Marine Credit Union (MCU) has created a Management Trainee Program for individuals interested in a management career in the financial services industry.  This highly competitive program is designed to challenge participants while providing an opportunity to learn, advance and demonstrate abilities to handle responsibility for others as well as for their own work. Participants will be encouraged to express and pursue their own ideas and initiatives and will be provided the independence and flexibility necessary to develop these ideas. 


The Management Trainee Program will progress through four functional areas of the financial institution over a 18 month to two year period.  Participants must achieve the goals that have been set for them and excel in each area to adequately prepare for a future management position.

 

Interested professionals for this program must have strong leadership skills, be highly independent, confident and  free thinking. 

Requirements

The Management Trainee program is designed for professionals with a Bachelor’s Degree (or who will attain a Bachelors within the six nine months). Interested professionals must have high ethical standards, excellent decision making skills and a strong sales/goals orientation. Candidates must be willing to relocate throughout the program.
