Description Financial Services Representative Job Description:
  • Perform prospecting activities, e.g., telephone and face-to-face methods to build client base.
  • Meet with business owners, human resource professionals, employees and individuals to acquire new clients.
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine clients’ financial and insurance needs.
  • Obtain licenses and registrations required to sell products offered by MetLife, including: life insurance, disability income insurance, annuities, mutual funds, employee benefit programs and other investment products.
  • Establish relationships with customers, sell MetLife products and close customer sales.
  • Service customer needs and policies effectively.
  • Manage relationships with Home and Head Office Departments, e.g. Underwriting.
