Medical Billing/Insurance Follow Up Representatives

Quadax, Inc., a leader in medical billing and healthcare data processing has  openings  for Medical Biller/Insurance Follow up Representatives.

*Responsible for reviewing and processing correspondence received form patient and insurance company

*Heavy phone correspondence with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues and rejections

*Written documentation as well as remittance advice to various carriers

*Follow up with carrier on partially paid, underpaid or problem accounts

*Follow up on internal electronic submission claim reports as well as edit reports

*Review month-end age reports for assigned client accounts

*Monitor client inquiries

*Enter patient demographics, account messages, and adjustment to patient accounts

*Filing of insurance remittance and correspondence

*Pull patient charts and/or remittance advice to document medical necessity and verification of services as needed

*Process and review month end closings

*Keep current with client requests and account status

Qualifications:

Experience in processing medical insurance claims, denials and follow-up

Ten Key and keyboard experience

PC skills

Familiar with various insurance carriers/payors

Medical terminology and coding experience a plus

Self starter with analytical skills required

Detail oriented and investigational skills
