Statistical Analysis Manager or Sr. Associate - VA or TX

Responsibilities: 

• Statistical modeling and analysis

• Understanding technical issues in statistical modeling and applying these skills toward solving business problems

• Monitoring statistical model performance and providing technical guidance to business leadership

• Data preparation

• Personnel management work (if applicable - some statistical analysis managers do not actually manage people)

• Identifying opportunities to apply quantitative methods to improve business performance

• Communicating technical subject matter clearly and concisely to individuals from various backgrounds

• Project Delivery: Define project scope, execute and evaluate projects, champion new ideas, and influence business leaders.

• Manage up to 2 people

•  Masters Degree in Statistics, Economics, Operation Research or Mathematics
• 2 Years experience in Statistics or related quantitative field 
•  2 Years experience in Risk management
• 1 Year experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, survival analysis
• Proficiency in key statistical techniques (predictive modeling, logistic regression, survival analysis, design of experiments, decision trees, data mining methods, and other advanced statistical techniques)
•  Proficient in SAS programming

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Doctorate in Statistics or related quantitative field 
• 5 Years experience in Statistics or related quantitative field
• 5 Years experience in Risk management
• 1 Year experience in Managing statisticians
• 2 Years experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, survival analysis2 Years experience in Programming in the SAS System
